The Carol Stream Fire Protection District is governed by a 5-person Board of Trustees. Trustees are elected to 6-year terms on a rotating basis. Trustee elections are usually held in April of odd number years. Terms are staggered so that no more than two Board seats are open in any election.
The Board's primary responsibility is to provide financial oversight and strategic planning to ensure the District's fiscal stability while providing the highest level of services possible to its residents.
Regularly scheduled meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of each month and are open to the public. Additional or special meetings may be scheduled as needed. Agendas for all meetings are posted on this website and on the front door of Station 28 at 365 Kuhn Road no less than 48 hours in advance.
You can find Board Meetings Agendas and Minutes here.
